Destiny 2 is set to release “The Final Shape” expansion marking the end of the ten-year Light and Darkness saga. Scheduled to go live on June 4th, the expansion’s raid will be felt on June 7th, a big day among Destiny 2 players.

The Final Shape expansion introduces new classes, including the much-anticipated Prismatic subclasses and new exotic class weapons and armour. However, it is on June 7th that a secret area within the Pale Heart will unlock. What’s more is that Destiny 2’s fan favourite character Cayde-6 returns once again!

Guardians will face off against The Witness in what is described as “the last breath of an era.” This raid promises to deliver an explosive conclusion, Bungie has been building up to for months. Despite concerns about the tight timeline, with only three days for players to prepare, Bungie has lowered the Power Level cap to make the challenge more manageable. 

Destiny 2’s endgame content is notoriously challenging, but the tradition of hosting the World First race on Raid release dates allows even those who don’t participate to experience the excitement through live streams.
