A nine year PlayStation 4 game has skyrocketed in price following the release of the long-waited film Deadpool and Wolverine last week.

A Deadpool game released in 2015 by Activision, has been skyrocketing in price following the release of the anticipated Marvel Deadpool and Wolverine movie last week. Fans have paid as much as 116 pounds on eBay , with the highest being 330 pounds.

The game is no longer available for digital download meaning , gamers must seek out physical copies to have an opportunity to play it.

Ironically, the game was not a very popular during its release. Critics and fans enjoyed the humour and the creative presentation of the storyline. Beyond that , it was just a normal action game which was failing to compete with Rocksteady’s Arkham games. It was designed to be quite plain , with a few secrets and mostly standard encounters.

It seems that the renewed love of the game is due to the box office success of the new film which has made over a mind boggling $444m on its opening weekend.
