Esports World Cup Announces Record-Breaking $60 Million Prize Pool

The world’s best gaming champions are competing Saudi Arabia’s capital for a chance to win over $60 million.

The Esports World Cup (EWC) starting this summer in Saudi Arabia will feature a prize pool of over $60 million, the largest in esports history. This surpasses the previous record of $45 million set by Gamers8 in 2023.

The event will host 20 tournaments across 19 competitive titles over eight weeks. The Club Championship will award $20 million to the top 16 clubs based on overall performance in multiple titles. The remaining prize pool includes over $33 million for Game Championships, $50,000 MVP bounties for standout players, and more than $7 million for qualifiers.

Titles involved in the tournament include Apex Legends, Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2, EA Sports FC 24, Fortnite, Free Fire, Honor of Kings, League of Legends, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Overwatch 2, PUBG Battlegrounds, PUBG MOBILE, Rainbow Six Siege, RENNSPORT, Rocket League, StarCraft II, Street Fighter 6, Teamfight Tactics, and TEKKEN 8.
