Blizzard has recently announced the beginning of Diablo IV Season 5 on August 6th . Lets understands what’s all new that is coming in the new season.

Diablo IV has announced that Season 5, Season of the Infernal Hordes, will begin on August 6th at 9 PM (UAE time). Blizzard also provided an overview of everything coming in the season, including all the new updates to the game. To give the complete information, Blizzard is hosting a livestream on August 1st.

Before the launch of Diablo IV, Blizzard has confirmed that the seasons will be released based on a seasonal model, with each season lasting a few months. The recent season was well received and now the focus turns on what’s new.

One of the biggest additions is the new season questline of Lambs and Wolves and the Eyes of the Enemy. These two new modes will be available in both : seasonal and eternal realms. Another addition is the new mode called Infernal Hordes, which is available from World Tier 3. In this mode, players have 60 seconds to battle a swarm of enemies. Players earn a chance of earning rewards by surviving attacks and defeating the Fell Council. These are a new group of antagonists who are former members of the High Council of Zakarum.

Blizzard has offered multiple new realms in the new season such as HellBreach Dungeons. The main aim there is to destroy anything in sight and get stronger before facing the final boss. Defeating the final boss provides many fun and exciting rewards in kind. In the upcoming season, Seasonal Progressions can be earned by slaying powerful servants sent by Hell which are found in the Dungeons and the Infernal Hordes.

Blizzard has also added more unique items and updated existing ones to make them more useful players to use. There are new Uniques and Legendaries added along with the new battle pass which consists of other things such as scrolls etc.
