The first gameplay trailer for Batman: Arkham Shadow, the upcoming VR title from Meta and Camouflaj, has officially been unveiled.
Earlier this year, Meta revealed it was developing a new virtual reality entry in the Batman: Arkham series, set to release for Meta Quest 3 headsets in 2024. Now, with the launch just a few months away, fans finally have a glimpse of what it’s like to step into Batman’s boots in this immersive new experience.
Unveiled during Gamescom Opening Night Live, the latest trailer for Batman: Arkham Shadow runs just over two minutes and offers a detailed look at the in-game action.

Unlike previous teasers, this new video showcases pure gameplay, highlighting some of the familiar mechanics fans of the series will recognize. Detective Vision and Predator Mode make their return, bringing that classic Arkham feel into the VR space.
Camouflaj has reworked Batman’s iconic combat system, giving players the chance to brawl from a first-person perspective.

Fans can play Batman: Arkham Shadow for the Meta Quest 3 sometime near October of 2024.
