and it’s a treat for all fans of the Wizarding World.

It’s almost time to go back to Hogwarts, as Warner Bros. Games have just revealed the magical “Welcome Students” trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. Set for release in September 2024, this trailer gives us a first look at the game, including the single-player Career Mode and the Online Competitive Mode. 

The trailer gives us a peek at character creation and showcases the Quidditch World Cup Stadium and other iconic arenas from the Wizarding World. Fans can also look forward to cameos from their favorite characters, like Draco Malfoy and Ron Weasley.

While many fans had hoped for a Hogwarts Legacy DLC that includes Quidditch, this is a promising compromise from the team at WBG. The character customization seems almost as versatile as it was in last year’s Hogwarts Legacy.

The trailer reveals just how much love and care was put into the production of the game, as it lets you fly across various arenas as a Beater, Chaser, Keeper, or Seeker in many different modes.

Fans will be happy to know that players can even become contestants in the Quidditch World Cup alongside iconic characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger. 

Perhaps the most surprising reveal in the trailer is the inclusion of the Weasley Burrow as an arena to play in, which I’m sure many fans of the Wizarding World will enjoy.

Starting today, you can pre-order Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions digitally for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). The Digital Standard Edition is $29.99, and the Digital and Physical Deluxe Editions are $39.99.

Pre-ordering the game gets you the Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin immediately, while choosing to go for the deluxe edition provides you with four sets of costumes and perks for all Hogwarts houses.

Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions drops on September 3rd, 2024, for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. The Physical Deluxe Edition will be available on November 8th, 2024. The Nintendo Switch edition will come out this holiday season.

For PlayStation Plus members, the Standard Edition will be free from September 3rd to September 30th, along with the Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin pack.
