In the longest ever Apex Legends match, EWC: Apex Legends is taken by Alliance

After 40 teams played each other in the competition , Alliance bested all of them in the game of their lives to become the first team, to ever win the Esports World Cup: Apex Legends in the longest race to the title.

Throughout the years, Alliance have been a solid team playing in multiple tournaments and have been dominating throughout the group stages. However as soon as they reach the playoff stages, they succumb to the pressure and usually crash out of the competition.
However, this time after easily passing through out the group stage , they manage to hold their nerve and play through one of the longest finals in the game’s history. This time around, the Grand finals was to be decided by match point. Once a team reaches a match point, they win the game and the tournament.

In turn, this made the final game much more interesting as there were multiple competitive teams managing to reach match point . This meant that there were a mind-boggling 13 games played back-to back across seven hours. It made the record for the longest Apex game ever being played in the final.
Team Falcon first took the lead and gotten their match point quite early. But, by the time Game 6 approached, many other teams had joined them to reach match point. On the contrary, by that time Falcon had stalled and were unable to finish the match point.
Finally in Game 13 Alliance managed to get the upper hand during the final circle and had managed to defeat the final squad, for their win.
