Coming to your consoles in 2025.

Capcom’s upcoming action RPG, Monster Hunter Wilds, is shaping up to be their next major release, and during Gamescom Opening Night Live, we got a fresh look with a brand-new trailer.

The trailer kicks off with a reveal of a terrifying new monster, which is a mix between a massive spider and a flowery beast. The footage goes on to highlight more intense combat scenes, new monsters, and gives us a peek at the hub village. 

We also get a closer look at various weapons, the new weather-based mechanics, and an Apex creature that plays a key role in the main story. There’s even a quick nod to the series’ signature cooking moments.

Capcom has also been dropping new trailers in recent weeks, showcasing some of the game’s weaponry. So far, we’ve seen glimpses of the Switchaxe, Sword and Shield, Long Sword, Charge Blade, Light Bowgun, Gunlance, and others.

Monster Hunter Wilds is slated for release in 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
