Qiddiya City’s Gaming & Esports District to Serve as Official Venue for Esports World Cup

Qiddiya City has been unveiled as the Nexus Partner for the forthcoming Esports World Cup, the prestigious global gaming event scheduled for July to August 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The landmark three-year collaboration designates the Qiddiya Gaming & Esports District as the official venue for the Esports World Cup, solidifying Qiddiya City’s pivotal role in the esports landscape.

As part of the partnership, Qiddiya City will serve as the presenting partner for The Elite Player Lounge and The Esports Arena, providing professional players participating in the Esports World Cup with a state-of-the-art facility for training, relaxation, and match preparation. Additionally, Qiddiya Gaming will unveil its dedicated experiential zone, offering a glimpse into the city’s ambitious plans for the Gaming & Esports District.

Notably, Qiddiya City’s Gaming & Esports District has introduced the world’s first Elite Esports Bootcamps, equipped with cutting-edge amenities and cyberpunk-themed facilities to facilitate training for esports teams. This ground-breaking initiative aims to accommodate up to 20 different esports organizations simultaneously, further elevating the industry’s infrastructure and capabilities.

With its expansive gaming space and top-tier facilities, the district aims to welcome 10 million visitors annually, offering a diverse array of entertainment options.
