Saudi Gamer Earns Guinness World Record for Most Consoles Connected to a TV

Saudi Arabian gamer Ibrahim Al-Nasser set a Guinness World Record by connecting 444 gaming devices to a single TV. Many gamers struggle with keeping large collections accessible and organized, Al-Nasser recognized that and took matters into his own hands.

Al-Nasser grew frustrated with constantly switching consoles due to limited TV ports, so he took a unique approach—linking every device in his collection to the same display.

Using more than 12 HDMI switchers and over 30 RCA switchers, Al-Nasser ensured that both modern and retro consoles could be seamlessly connected. A spreadsheet helps him navigate the complex system of inputs, ensuring he can select the correct device with ease.

His collection ranges from modern gaming consoles to rare devices like the Asia-exclusive Super A’Can and even includes non-traditional gaming hardware such as plug-and-play devices, mini-console re-releases, and arcade-style systems.

Guinness World Records recognized Al-Nasser’s achievement, though the organization has been criticized in the past for allowing record seekers to pay for verification. Despite this, Al-Nasser’s dedication to maintaining and organizing his massive collection is impressive.

“I use all the tools available to organize the cables,” he explained, comparing his setup to a museum, highlighting the time and effort it took to perfect.
