Synology showcases solutions at GITEX Global 2024

Synology showcased its latest line of secure data storage, data backup & recovery, and surveillance technology at the show.
Synology, the enterprise data solutions provider, participated in the 2024 GITEX Global event showcasing its latest innovations across three dedicated zones, focusing on secure data storage, data protection, and smart surveillance systems.
Michael Chang, Synology’s Regional Manager, highlighted the growing importance of AI and digital transformation in today’s data-driven business landscape. “AI and digital transformation have become inevitable for businesses as data demands are growing rapidly. Synology solutions are tailored to meet the evolving needs of today’s enterprises,” said Chang.
Synology unveiled solutions designed for businesses requiring scalable and high-performance storage systems. These included petabyte-level storage, all-flash servers, and tools such as Immutable Snapshots and WriteOnce shared folders, which provided robust protection against threats like ransomware.
For data backup and disaster recovery, Synology presented a comprehensive suite of solutions that covered a wide range of platforms, including Windows, Mac, Linux PCs, virtual machines, and SaaS applications like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. The company also introduced its new ActiveProtect Backup Appliance, which offered advanced data protection features like source deduplication and air-gap technology to safeguard data across multiple locations.
Synology’s surveillance solutions were also a key focus at GITEX. The company offered a scalable, end-to-end surveillance platform designed to protect physical assets with intelligent surveillance features. This included AI-powered recognition technology for detecting people, vehicles, and intrusions, along with centralized management for large-scale deployments.
“This is a great opportunity to explore how our innovative technologies can benefit your business and drive future growth.” Chang added.
