VCT 2024 Masters Madrid Set to Kick Off on March 14

Organized by Riot Games, this offline S-Tier tournament marks the first-ever VCT Masters event to grace the city of Madrid, Spain.
The highly anticipated VCT 2024: Masters Madrid is just around the corner, promising a showdown among the world’s top Valorant teams.
Scheduled to run from March 14 to 24, VCT 2024: Masters Madrid boasts a staggering prize pool of $250,000, along with three coveted VCT points awarded to the winners. These points serve as a crucial pathway for teams aiming to secure a spot in the prestigious VCT Champions event later in the year.
The tournament kicks off with the first round taking place from March 14 to 18, featuring an intense eight-team Swiss Stage format. Each matchup will be contested in a best-of-three series, pitting the VCT League Kickoff winners against the regional runner-ups. Only the top four teams will advance to the playoffs, while the bottom four will bid farewell to their title aspirations.
Transitioning to the playoffs, which run from March 21 to 24, teams will engage in a thrilling double-elimination bracket showdown. Teams that clinched a ‘2-0’ record in the Swiss Stage will face off against those with a ‘2-1’ score in the initial matchups. Throughout the playoffs, matches will adhere to the best-of-three format, except for the lower bracket final and the grand finals, which will escalate to a best-of-five spectacle.
